"We Power Up" is my favorite on the EP. It's got variation, funny instrumentation, and an overall upbeat vibe. When we listen to music we love, we power up to take on our lives. Hopefully when you hear this song, it makes you feel like you just got a buff.

One of the ways I choose my instruments is by cycling through a vast library and sift out samples I feel can define a signature within an overall soundscape. I like to imagine the more unexpected instruments in the right combination will produce a unique experience. My style isn't about being cool or hoping I follow a trend or that someone else likes it — it's about creating and freeing a vibe I can sign off on. 'We Power Up' should let you as a listener, isolate all the instrumentation on its own, its chord progressions with subtle variance... Letting you enjoy the song differently every time.
